Join other hiking enthusiasts in an intense, but short workout. Mission Peak is a peak east of Fremont, California with an elevation of 2,517 ft (767m). We meet at the Stanford Avenue entrance by the picnic table. This is a strenuous hike with a constant uphill climb until you reach the summit. We do not take breaks until we reach the summit. Come paddle an outrigger canoe! O Kalani Outrigger Canoe Center welcomes beginners at our Sunday, 9:00 am practice along the Oakland estuary (Jack London Aquatic Center). No experience necessary. We'll provide you with a paddle and some basic instruction. Wear non-cotton, loose-fitting clothing (shorts/pants and top), shoes that can get wet, sunscreen and sunglasses.
